FutureFERNS Programme
What is FutureFERNS?
Woolworths FutureFERNS is a wonderful initiative created by Netball New Zealand and proudly delivered by the Pohutukawa Coast Netball Club. With guidance from the Howick Pakuranga Netball Centre and Netball Northern Zone, this programme is designed to introduce boys and girls from Years 1 to 4 to the exciting world of netball.
FutureFERNS provides a fun and supportive environment for children to learn, play, and grow their love for netball. Each session consists of:
Skills Coaching: Participants are coached on a specific netball skill by our trained coaches.
Gameplay: Skills are put into action with a netball game, helping children build confidence and enjoy the sport.
No previous netball experience is required, making this programme perfect for beginners and those new to the game.
